“The first 12 songs were initially released in an LP for the
Mobil Oil Corporation in 1967. Music was recorded in
Munich, Germany. Because of so many requests, the
music was transferred from the master tape to digital.
The music was remixed to the present CD format. I have
attempted to keep the balances of the original mix as
much as possible. Six current recordings were added for
the PLUS section. I hope you enjoy the CD as much as
the LP.
Scoring calls for 3 flutes, oboe, bassoon, 2 French horns,
2 trombones, harp, celesta, cimbalom, 2 guitars, drums,
percussion, 10 violins, 4 violas, 3 celli, acoustic bass
and chorus. The PLUS section calls for larger string
section of 16 violins, 8 violas and 6 celli.”
